The center, based at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, focuses its research on green packaging, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. It has developed four core research areas: intelligent scheduling and recycling of reusable packaging, end-to-end logistics safety monitoring, green packaging materials, and self-powered sensor technologies. The center is equipped with a 249-square-meter laboratory and research equipment valued at 32.38 million RMB. Over the past three years, it has undertaken 15 research projects with total funding of 6.404 million RMB, published 23 high-quality papers indexed by SCI/EI, obtained 16 authorized patents, and registered 12 software copyrights. It has also led or participated in the development of 1 international standard, 1 national standard, and 3 industry standards, and has received 2 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards.

The center has achieved significant success in the transformation of research outcomes. In collaboration with enterprises such as China Post, SF Express, CRRC, Hisense, and Haier, its technological achievements have been applied across key areas including intelligent scheduling of reusable packaging, end-to-end logistics safety monitoring, and self-powered sensor technologies. Researchers involved in these achievements have been selected for the Young Scientific and Technological Talent Program of the Ministry of Transport and the Scientific Talent Program of the State Post Bureau, providing core support for the industry’s green transformation and intelligent upgrading while continuously leading the direction of innovation.
