Beijing Key Laboratory of Digital Printing Equipment
The Beijing Key Laboratory of Digitization Printing Equipment (DPEL) focuses primarily on research in printing equipment testing and fault diagnosis, digital and intelligent design of post-press equipment, and printed electronics equipment. The lab has undertaken over 10 national-level projects, more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and over 80 industry-funded horizontal projects. It has led the drafting of 15 national and industry standards, obtained more than 80 authorized invention patents, and developed over 20 types of products including printing equipment testing systems. Notable achievements include: the project “Key Technologies and Series Product Development of High-End Packaging and Printing Equipment,” which received the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; the project “Research and Application of Key Technologies for High-Speed Printing Quality Inspection,” which received the Third Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award; the project “R&D of Key Technologies and Equipment for Intelligent Production and Logistics of Playing Cards,” which won the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; and the project “Key Technologies for Performance Testing and Fault Diagnosis of High-Speed Printing Equipment,” which received the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the China Packaging Federation. Relying on the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Printing Machinery, the laboratory also provides testing and quality assessment services for the printing industry.
