Beijing 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center for Green Printing and Publishing Technology
The Beijing 2011 Collaborative Innovation Center focuses on the major needs of the transformation and upgrading of the printing and publishing industry, serving the sector’s strategic development. With entry points such as green printing, packaging materials and equipment, and printed electronic materials, the center conducts applied fundamental research to break through key technological bottlenecks hindering industry progress. Notable achievements include: “Key Technologies and Series Product Development of High-End Packaging and Printing Equipment” which won the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; “Multifunctional Integrated Fresh-Keeping Packaging Design for Fruits and Vegetables”, awarded the Gold Medal at the 2017 Concours Lépine International Invention Fair in France; “A Memristor Based on PET Film with Simulated Nanowire Arrays and Its Preparation Method”, awarded the Gold Medal at the 24th National Invention Exhibition; and “Preparation Technology and Application of Antique-Style Ink Wash”, which won the Gold Medal at the 7th International Invention Exhibition. The technologies for process-free thermal CTP plates and water-based inks are nationally leading, while nano- and microscale conductive paste has already been industrialized.

The center has a research team of 32 members and operates 4 provincial and ministerial-level research platforms. To date, it has published over 200 academic papers, obtained more than 60 national invention patents, led the drafting of 5 national standards, completed over 20 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, and carried out multiple horizontal research projects.
