National Collaborative Innovation Hub for Green Printing and Packaging Industry
The Chinese National Green Printing and Packaging Innovation Center (NGPIC) is the first collaborative innovation platform in the printing and packaging sector approved for construction by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee (formerly the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television). The center is dedicated to promoting high-quality industrial development, strengthening scientific and technological support, advancing talent cultivation, and accelerating the transformation of research outcomes. The center focuses on key areas such as the development of new green printing and packaging materials, research on the application of organic optoelectronic printed electronics, and the digital and intelligent upgrading of printing and packaging enterprises. It is committed to becoming a leading center for technological innovation, results dissemination, and talent development in the industry. In recent years, the center has achieved remarkable progress in scientific innovation and industrial application. It has led or participated in numerous national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects and undertaken more than ten horizontal projects. Its research outcomes have been recognized with the Second Prize of the 16th Bi Sheng Printing Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the 2024 Packaging Industry Science and Technology Award. The center has published more than ten SCI-indexed papers, obtained over twenty authorized patents, and guided students to win multiple awards.
