BIGC’s “Publishing Industry–Academia–Research Innovation Practice Base” Officially Inaugurated
On June 22, 2024, the sub-forum “Pathways and Practices for International Publishing Talent Cultivation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” was held at BIGC as part of the 2nd International Summit Forum on Publishing Education. Over 80 representatives from more than 50 universities and publishing-related enterprises and institutions across the country attended the expert forum. During the event, BIGC jointly inaugurated the Publishing Industry–Academia–Research Innovation Practice Base in collaboration with Higher Education Press and Intellectual Property Publishing House. Both BIGC and its business partners will adhere to the principles of higher education and talent development by forming joint mentorship teams to provide hands-on guidance for students engaged in real-world projects and internships. Additionally, BIGC and its partners will jointly apply for research projects and conduct collaborative research to address key challenges in the publishing industry.
