At this year's book fair, BIGC presented the theme "Books · Art · New Voices — The 'Beauty of China' Series". BIGC carefully selected dozens of classic works that represent its distinctive strengths in publishing and book design for international exhibition.
The exhibits encompassed multiple dimensions of the beauty of Chinese culture, Chinese art, and Chinese digital art. They included Heart's Journey Within: Seal Engravings by Tian Zhongli and The Vitality of All Things—seal engraving collections by BIGC President Tian Zhongli; exquisitely bound works jointly created by BIGC faculty and students, such as The Worldly Phases: Autumn (in dragon-scale binding) and The Grand Canal: Flowing Through Time (in scroll and accordion bindings); as well as digital art pieces from Beijing Art and Technology Electronic Publishing House, including the ink animation New Adaptations of Fables and The Chinese Good Stories Series. Together, these works vividly showcased the unique charm of Chinese culture and BIGC's strong capabilities in publishing.
