
Wang Zhiou, Class of 2005 graduate, is a director, artist, and curator, as well as the founder and Artistic Director of BLACKBOW, a leading cross-media creative agency in China established in 2010. He has devoted over a decade to exploring the field of techno-aesthetics. He currently serves as Executive Council Member of the China Society of Science and Technology Journalism, Vice Chair of the Art and Artificial Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), Vice Chair of the Computational Art Subcommittee of the China Computer Federation (CCF), Vice Chair of the Experimental Art and Technological Art Committee of the Beijing Artists Association, and Expert at the Silk Road Planning Research Center. Wang is also a Visiting Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Guest Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s Supervisor at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. As a leading figure in the international field of art and technology, he has led his team in showcasing the brilliance of Chinese culture on world-class stages with the vision of “creating Chinese cultural memory through techno-aesthetics.” His works have received dozens of major domestic and international cultural and art awards, including: NY ADC, VEGA Digital Awards, CLIO Awards, A' Design Award, MUSE Awards, Best Ads, IAAPA, China International Advertising Festival Great Wall Award, CCEES, among others.
