Wang Wen has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. He graduated in 1995 from the Department of Design and Art at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. With extensive hands-on experience in graphic design, brand design, and typeface design, he currently serves as the Font Design Director at FounderType, Expert Committee Member of the Chinese Character and Typeface Design Research Center, and a member of the Shenzhen Graphic Design Association (SGDA). With 26 years of industry experience, Wang has received over 20 domestic and international design awards. His major typeface works include Founder Bangshu Kai, Founder Bangshu Xing, Founder QuSong, Founder Yashi Hei, Founder Yashi Song, Founder Hanwen Zhengkai, Founder Yan Zhenqing Kaishu, as well as custom corporate fonts for Vivo, JD.com, GDC, Heytea, and FAW Hongqi, among others. He has also been invited to serve as a professional judge in major international competitions, including International Judge for Typeface Design at GDC21 Graphic Design in China 2021, International Judge for Typeface Design at the 2022 Tokyo TDC Design Competition, Judge for Chinese Typeface Design at the 11th Founder Award Design Competition (2022), and Judge for Chinese Typeface Design at the 2022 GRANSHAN International Typeface Design Competition
