
Cheng Kangying graduated in 1982 from the Printing Machinery program at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. He is the founder, chairman, and senior engineer of BASCH Group, as well as a part-time professor and master’s supervisor at BIGC. Cheng previously taught at the university for eight years, serving as the head of the Printing Machinery Teaching and Research Office. He was awarded the honorary title of “National Model Worker.” In 1990, he founded Beijing BASCH Technology Development Co., Ltd. He has received the highest honor in China’s printing industry—the 9th Bi Sheng Award for Outstanding Young Professionals in Printing Technology. He was also recognized as one of the “Top 100 Outstanding Entrepreneurs in Printing in New China” and was honored as a “Figure of Special Contribution to China’s Printing Industry.”
